You're in control of your account and your data.
- From Settings: change your language, photo, and bio, add or remove passkeys, and set or change your password.
- "Download my data" gives you a full copy of your data.
- "Delete my account" locks your account immediately and permanently erases it after 30 days — if you change your mind, just sign in again within that window and it's restored.
- The user agreement and privacy notice are always available from Settings.
- If you stop using Gerany entirely, we email you after two years, again after two and a half, and a month before the deadline; at three years your verification images are destroyed and the account closes. Signing in once resets the clock.

See where you're signed in
1. Privacy & data → Signed-in devices lists every device with a live session.
2. Sign out any single device you don't recognize.
3. Sign out everywhere ends every session at once (including the current one) — the right move if you suspect someone else has access. Then change your password.

Passwords, passkeys, phone, email
- Set or change your password in Settings — 8 characters minimum, 10+ recommended.
- Add a passkey to sign in with your fingerprint or face; you can keep several (one per device).
- Add or change your phone number — the new number is only claimed after you verify a code sent to it.
- Change your email — a verification link goes to the new address.

Two-step verification
An extra lock on top of your password, using any authenticator app:
1. Settings → Two-step verification shows a QR code — scan it with your authenticator app (or Apple Passwords).
2. Enter the app's 6-digit code once to confirm.
3. From then on, password and phone-code sign-ins ask for your authenticator code too. Passkeys skip it by design — they're already phishing-proof.
4. To turn it off, you'll need a current code — so a stolen session can't quietly weaken your account.

Download everything, or leave
1. Download my data produces a complete export of your account.
2. Delete my account deactivates immediately; everything is permanently erased after 30 days.
3. During those 30 days, signing in once restores the account completely.
4. If you simply stop using Gerany, we don't hold your verification images forever: we email you after two years of not signing in, again after two and a half, and once more a month before the deadline. At three years the images are destroyed and the account closes. A single sign-in cancels it and restarts the clock.
