Experiences are neighbor meetups: a coffee, a class, a run, a film night…
Creating one. Tap + Create → Experience from any screen, or the "+ New experience" card on the Experiences tab. Give it a name, a time, and a venue — search for the place by name, pin it on the map, or use your current location if it isn't on the map. The distance neighbors see is measured to the venue itself, and neighbors tap "Going" or "Interested" (you get a notification).
Selling tickets. While creating the experience, set a ticket price — and a seat limit if you want one — and neighbors buy admission through Gerany. This needs a paid plan and an active payout account. The money reaches your payout account as soon as a ticket sells. That also means a cancellation is on you: if you call the experience off, Gerany voids the tickets and tells the buyers to contact you, but the refund has to come from you. Gerany's fee is 8% + $0.30 and the BUYER pays it on top, so the ticket price you set is what you receive. Leave the price empty and the experience is free, as always.
At the door. Every ticket is a QR code in the buyer's app. Open your experience, go to "Ticket sales", and scan it — or type the code in by hand. Each ticket admits exactly once, and you see who has arrived.
Your own tickets are under "Tickets" in your profile menu, each with its QR code. Show it at the door.
Already keep your schedule somewhere else? In Settings → Connected calendars, paste your calendar's public link (ICS). Upcoming entries become your experiences automatically and refresh every hour.
You can cancel an experience at any time. If tickets were already sold, refunding the buyers is your responsibility — open each sale under Orders and tap Refund; the ticket price comes back out of your balance and the buyer gets their full payment back, Gerany's fee included.

Create an experience
1. Tap + Create in the header and choose Experience (or use the button on the Experiences tab).
2. Give it a name and details — what, who it's for, what to bring.
3. Set the start time (and optionally an end).
4. Pin the venue: search for the place, pick it on the map, or stand there and use your current location.
5. Tap Create. Nearby neighbors can now see it and RSVP.

Sell tickets
Any experience can be ticketed.
1. When creating the experience, set a ticket price ($10–$2,500) and optionally a capacity.
2. Before your first paid experience, finish payout setup (see the Paying topic) so money has somewhere to go.
3. Buyers pay the ticket price plus Gerany's fee, and the ticket price reaches your payout account in full, right away.
4. Each buyer gets a one-time QR ticket in their Tickets wallet.
Note: once a ticket has been sold, the price is locked, and capacity can grow but never shrink below seats already taken. If you cancel the experience, every ticket is voided and the buyers are told to contact you — the money already reached you, so refunding them is your responsibility.

Check people in at the door
1. Open your experience and tap the organizer door / check-in view.
2. Scan each guest's QR ticket — each ticket admits exactly once, so passes can't be reused or shared.
3. No camera? Use manual entry, or the attendee list to check names off.

Join something nearby
1. Browse the Experiences tab — everything is sorted by distance and time.
2. Tap one for details, then Going to RSVP (free) or buy a ticket (paid).
3. Your ticket lives under Tickets in your profile menu — show its QR at the door.
4. Add any experience to your own calendar with the calendar export button.

Already publish a schedule elsewhere?
If your classes already live in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or a booking tool:
1. Copy your calendar's public ICS link from that tool.
2. In Gerany, open Settings → Connected calendars and paste it.
3. Set a default venue — imported events need a place on the map.
4. Your upcoming events appear as experiences automatically and refresh every hour. Edit or cancel at the source and Gerany follows; cancel one inside Gerany and it stays canceled.
