Safety & reporting

1. Every post, comment, listing, experience, service, and profile has a Report option (usually behind the ⋯ menu).

2. Pick a reason — spam, harassment, scam, inappropriate — and add details if you like.

3. Reporting is invisible to the person you reported.

1. Open their profile and choose Block.

2. They can no longer message you, call you, or interact with your content — and they are not told.

3. Manage your list under Privacy & data → Blocked users; unblock any time.

• Reports go to a review queue seen by Gerany's moderators.
• Moderation can see the identity behind anonymous posts, so anonymity never shields abuse.
• Serious or repeated violations lead to content removal and account suspension.
• If a deal went wrong (money involved), use the Resolution Center instead — see the Paying topic.

Calls and protected chats block capture wherever the platform allows it. On Android, screenshots and screen recording of a call or a chat are blocked outright, and the app is blanked in the recent-apps preview. On iPhone, screen recording is detected and the content is hidden immediately, and you are warned when you take a screenshot. On the web, no browser can stop the operating system's screenshot — keep sensitive calls to the apps.

What no app can prevent: a rooted or jailbroken device, or a camera pointed at your screen. Gerany never records a call or stores call media — 1:1 calls are encrypted device-to-device and group calls are encrypted to the media relay.

Your control (free): Privacy & data → Capture protection turns the shield on or off. Notifying the other person that you took a screenshot is deliberately not offered: Android blocks captures outright, and on iOS only the person taking the screenshot is warned.
